Dolores is a striking, futuristic story that follows the transformation of a 220-year-old bionic woman who decides to replace her metal heart with a human one. Using mime techniques and masks, this work delves deeply into the emotions, isolation, and inner conflict of the protagonist in a world where the human and the artificial collide.
Performed in San Francisco theaters, at the Rogue Festival in Fresno, California, and the Winnipeg Fringe Festival in Canada, Dolores is a unique visual and sensory experience. Written and performed by Carolina “Coicoi” Duncan, the show blends mime, masks, puppets, multimedia, and live sound effects to bring this compelling story to life.
